Brunswick-Gifhorn


BRUNSWICK-GIFHORN   BRAUNSCHWEIG-GIFHORN.

The share of the youngest brother when Brunswick-Lüneburg was divided in 1527.   He died without a son in 1549.   The town is on the River Aller, north of Brunswick, and is today the capital of a Landkreis in Niedersachsen that bears its name.
